CPAI_84 Tent Flame Retardant Tester
YY-84cpAl tent flame retardant tester according to CPAI_84_1995 account tent flame retardant test. Vertical method of the standard provisions of the simulation test items.
YY-84cpAl tent flame retardant tester is to install the sample on the stainless steel sample clamp, hanging in the test cabinet, the lowest point of the sample is 20mm away from the upper end of the fire source tube; adjust the fire source height to 38mm (±3mm) (the test gas is methane); start the tester, make the fire source move to the sample directly below, burn for 12 seconds, remove the fire source, record the renewal combustion time; after all the burning is over The tent flame tester is suitable for testing the flame resistance of tent top, bottom and outer wall materials.

For the Flooring material, CPAI 84 provides for horizontal combustion determination, the test procedure is as follows.
1) Place the test cabinet in a fume hood with the brace sample frame inside the test cabinet.
2) Pierce a 6 mm hole in the center of the test sample.
(3) Place the sample on the frame, make it level, and then place the ignition source methenamine tablet on the sample, which is no more than 3 mm away from the sample's hole.
4) Ignite the methenamine tablet and observe the test.
5) When all burning stops, ventilation, test the length of damage to the sample and record the data.
Test result determination.
When the test sample is tested with the method in Part V of this standard, either as is, or waterlogged or aged samples, the length of damage of any one test sample cannot exceed 72mm.
> For wall and top materials, CPAI 84 provides for vertical combustion determination, the test procedure is as follows.
1) Mount the sample on a sample holder and hang it in the test cabinet with the lowest point of the sample at a distance of 20 mm from the upper end of the fire source tube.
2) Adjust the fire source height to 38mm (±3mm) (the gas used for testing is methane).
(3) start the apparatus, so that the fire source moved to the sample directly below, burning 12 seconds after the removal of the fire source, record the renewal of combustion time; (4) after the end of combustion, remove the sample, measure the length of damage to the sample.
Test result determination: When the test sample is tested with the method of the sixth point of this standard, either the original sample, or the sample that has been flooded or aged
(a) any test sample can not exceed 4 seconds of continued combustion time, the average continued combustion time of not more than 2 seconds, the combustion process broken down or dripping off the part falling to the bottom of the test cabinet can not continue to burn.
