This machine allows you to work with metals by generating electrical currents within the conductor (metal) to create heat. This unit provides a constant stable working temperature to melt preferred sections of metal such as gold, silver, copper, and aluminum. What’s great about this model is its low energy consumption and high output power. It’s so efficient, the power consumption is half that of the traditional electron tube high frequency induction heater under the same conditions. 100% load design means you can work for 24 hours straight. This unit works on the latest MOSFET and IGBT power units and current frequency control standards. The infrared temperature detector simplifies manual operation, improves heating quality,and automatically controls temperature. Built in status displays alert the user of any possible errors providing higher reliability and sustainability. For best use, select power supply according to power and frequency. A higher frequency means shallower heating depth. Lower frequency leads to better diathermancy. Crucible (NOT INCLUDED) between 75-90 mm. This machine does not use a plug, wires connect directly to power line (voltage depends on country). The water temperature must not be lower than 26℃ to prevent a large temperature difference from the ambient temperature, which will cause condensation on the water pipes to form water droplets.

Potential Applications

 

Brazing Hybrid welding of different materials. Clean the surfaces to be used. Dimension of the workpiece should be less than 1.2" x 1.2" x 1.2".
Diathermy The diameter of the workpiece should be less than 5 mm (3/16").
Sealing This can be used to seal and cap different machines. Be aware of the metal type used in the seal.
Hardening Many metals can be heat-treated to induce hardening. Most often, this process requires quenching right after heating, so have a quenching station available.
Annealing Some heat-treated metals will end up softer. Be aware of the type of metal you are heat-treating; results can differ.
Soldering Much like brazing, clean the surfaces to be used. Be aware that solder can melt very quickly.
Smelting Many metals can be smelt, e.g., copper, silver, and gold.

Operating Principle

 

Frequency conversion electromagnetic induction heating or induction heating for short is a method for heating metal

materials by converting power frequency power supply into that of specific range based on the principle of electromagnetic

induction. This type of heating technique is also applicable to packing industry (such as sealing of aluminum foil used in medicine and food industry), semiconductor material .

Basic components of induction heating system include induction coil, AC power source and work pieces.

Induction coil can be fabricated into different shapes as per different heated objects. The coil is connected with the power source providing alternating current for coil.

1. Induction heating brazing. Copper pipes are connected to each other, with solder added in the middle. The solder in the middle is heated to melt, and then cooled and solidified to achieve the welding effect.

2. Quenching. Heat the workpiece to a certain high temperature, then use water, oil or air to rapidly cool it and let the surface of the workpiece harden.
